Valdemoro es una ciudad del sur de la Comunidad de Madrid, a 27 kilómetros del centro de la Capital. Se considera que forma parte del Área Metropolitana de Madrid, aunque también está geográficamente situada en la comarca de La Sagra, que ocupa territorios de las provincias de Toledo y Madrid. Esta ciudad ha experimentado un fuerte crecimiento demográfico en los últimos 15 años, teniendo en la actualidad más de 72.000 habitantes. Es también conocida por ser la sede del Colegio de Guardias Jóvenes "Duque de Ahumada" de la Guardia Civil, centro de formación de los futuros miembos del cuerpo.

This city has experienced strong population growth in the last 15 years, with currently more than 72,000 inhabitants. It is also known as the home of the College of Young Guards "Duque de Ahumada" of the Civil Guard, training center for future members.
