Visitamos hoy la ciudad de Elda, capital de la comarca del Medio Vinalopó, en la provincia de Alicante, en España. Elda tiene la primera industria de fabricación de calzado para la mujer de España. En Elche, una ciudad próxima, se fabrica calzado deportivo y el calzado de caballero se hace en Almansa y Villena, no lejos de las anteriores. En esta región visitada hoy se fabrica la mayor parte del calzado español. Muy buena parte de esta manufactura se exporta a otros países.

Today we visit Elda, capital of the region of the Middle Vinalopó in the province of Alicante, in Spain. Elda is the first shoe manufacturing industry for women of Spain. In Elche, a nearby city, sports shoes is the issue, and men's shoes are manufactured in Almansa and Villena, not far from the above.
