En su origen las Islas Canarias se llamaron Islas Afortunadas por su clima suave y sus bellezas naturales. Esta isla tiene en el centro una montaña de 3.718 metros de altura, conocida como volcán Teide, y de momento no está activo. Esperemos que siga así mucho tiempo.
