We are visiting de city of Paterna which has one of the well known towers or watchatowers of our country; it appears to be of Moorish origin, althoug James I added it to the defense system of the territory from its conquest in 1237. Roman remains have also been recently discovered, so that stablishes a much earlier appearence of human settlements in the area.
