Estepona es un destino turístico de primer orden en la Costa del Sol española, especialmente durante el verano, debido a su clima suave. Junto con el turismo, la promoción de viviendas ha sido un pilar importante para la economía local. Quedan restos de actividad pesquera y agrícola, pero el presente y el futuro de Estepona y su territorio es el turismo, la gastronomía, y el ocio asociado, deportes y actividades de salud. Esta bonita villa está a solo 25 kilómetros del mundialmente famoso Puerto Banús, y a 30 kilómetros de Marbella. 

Estepona is a prime tourist destination on the Spanish Costa del Sol, especially during the summer due to its mild climate. Along with tourism, housing development has been an important support for the local economy. There are some remains of fishing and farming, but the present and future of Estepona and its territory is tourism, gastronomy and leisure, sports and health. This beautiful villa is just 25 kilometers from the world famous Puerto Banus, and 30 kilometers from Marbella.

Visitamos hoy la ciudad de Linares, capital de la comarca de la Sierra Morena, en la provincia de Jaén. Esta ciudad es famosa porque tuvo minas de plomo, pero los usos industriales de este mineral han decaído y la ciudad ha tenido que reconvertir su economía. También se han venido celebrando Campeonatos del Mundo de Ajedrez en esta ciudad hasta 2010 y esperamos que pronto se reanude esta actividad. Por aquí han pasado los campeones legendarios de los últimos 30 años, como Spassky, Kasparov, Karpov, etc. También la ciudad se hizo famosa en 1947 porque en su plaza de toros muríó de una cornada del toro Islero el más famoso matador de todos los tiempos, Manuel Rodríguez "Manolete". Como todas las grandes figuras, murió joven, a los 30 años de edad.

Today we visit the city of Linares, the capital of the region of Sierra Morena, in the province of Jaén, Spain. This city is famous because there were in the site led mines, but industrial uses of this mineral have declined and the city had to restructure its economy. Also the city has been celebrating World Chess Championships till 2010 and hopefully this activity will be resumed shortly. In this city have performed the legendary champions of the past 30 years, as Spassky, Kasparov, Karpov, etc. Also the town became famous in 1947 because in its bullring died the most famous matador of all times, Manuel Rodriguez "Manolete", while bullfighting with bull "Islero". Like all the great artists, he died young, at age 30.

De visita en la bonita ciudad manchega de Tomelloso, capital oficiosa de la Mancha Alta, que se extiende por cuatro provincias (Ciudad Real, Toledo, Cuenca y Guadalajara). Esta ciudad se encuentra geográficamente en el centro de la comarca. La Mancha es una región española que es la mayor productora de vino de la nación, y por ello es una de las zonas productoras más importantes del mundo. Sus enólogos trabajan duramente para mejorar año tras año sus denominaciones de origen. La Mancha, si lo recuerdan, es la tierra del famoso personaje Don Quijote, de la novela El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de La Mancha, escrita por Don Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (1545-1616), genio universal de la literatura. Este libro es una obra de alcance mundial y ha sido traducido a casi todos los idiomas del planeta Tierra.

Visiting the beautiful city of Tomelloso, unofficial capital of Upper Mancha, extending four provinces (Ciudad Real, Toledo, Cuenca and Guadalajara). This city is located geographically in the center of the region. La Mancha is a Spanish region that is the largest wine producer in the nation, and therefore it is one of the major producing areas of the world. Their winemakers work hard to improve year after year their trade marks. La Mancha, if you remember, is the land of the famous character Don Quixote, from the novel The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha, written by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (1545-1616), universal genius of spanish literature. This book is worldwide known and has been translated into almost every language on the planet Earth.
